Playpave's poured-in-place rubber surfacing is a seamless, impact-absorbing system built to keep playgrounds safe and open to every child. An EPDM rubber wearing course with a shock-absorbing base layer, engineered to meet ASTM F1292 for impact attenuation, so the surface reduces head-injury risk (HIC and Gmax) at the critical fall height of the equipment above it. Because it is a continuous, firm, and stable surface with no loose-fill, gaps, or displacement, it also meets ASTM F1951 for accessibility and supports the ADA 2010 Standards for Accessible Design. Wheelchairs, walkers, and mobility devices roll smoothly across it with minimal effort, and it provides a smooth transition to ramps, transfer stations, and accessible play components.
